THE SIXTH DEMON: BOOK THREE—PART OF A COMPLETED PARANORMAL ROMANCE SERIES (PAPERBACK).
After Mab’s escape to Fae realm, the only way to stop a war is to risk a war.
With Nigellus poised to attack the Fae forces massed at Dhuinne’s gate, Neveah must decide what she is willing to sacrifice to alter the balance of power between long-standing supernatural enemies.
Hell’s forces will soon spill into the human realm, and if the Fae queen gets her way, no safe haven will remain anywhere for humans, vampires, or demons.
There’s only one possibility that might bring a halt to the encroaching madness. Neveah’s people washed their hands of the other races’ conflict millennia ago, but if she can somehow persuade them to help, they could put an end to Mab’s power-mad ambitions as easily as snuffing a candle flame.
A famous queen in a book once believed six impossible things before breakfast.
Neveah would settle for achieving one impossible thing before doomsday.

NIGELLUS STEPPED through Albigard of the Unseelie’s travel portal into a nightscape singing with magic. His strike force of five demon warriors followed close behind, with Edward, their Fae ally, and the human Len Grayson bringing up the rear. The portal snapped shut behind them in a crackle of unearthly flames.
They were here on the Isle of Skye for one purpose only—to ready an attack on the gateway separating Earth from the enchanted realm of Dhuinne, in hopes of aiding the escape of two pairs of powerful Fae twins. Hell’s survival might well depend on their success tonight. It was vital that Nigellus extract the twins and their sidhe guardian before Queen Mab could use them to power a dangerous new supernatural weapon—one intended to destroy Hell’s gate.
Their cohort had emerged from Albigard’s portal near Idrigal, located on the northwestern edge of the island. It was a remote place, largely untouched by the passage of time. The village itself was populated by crofters, each household maintaining small agricultural landholdings among the green hills. By design, Nigellus had chosen to arrive in the wilder lands west of Ulg Bay, which remained uncultivated. It was here that Edward had arranged for a group of magical human children rescued from the Fae to reside in safety as they learned to utilize their powers.
This so-called Fairy Glen was the site of an ancient rockslide. The geological event had left deep scars in the stony landscape. Eons later, time had softened the calamity into an alien vista of crags and eyries; overgrown with plants and cut through with rushing waterways. A convergence of ley lines infused the place with exceptional levels of natural magic, making it one of the more striking areas within the human realm, for any being sensitive to such power.
Above them, a gravid moon hung heavy in the late evening sky, illuminating the scene well enough for even human eyes to see their surroundings. Two figures stood waiting nearby—one sketched in shadows, the other pale and red-haired in the silver light. Magic limned them both, amplified by the ethereal forces flowing through the atmosphere.
Nigellus held up a hand, commanding the demons behind him to stay where they were. Albigard, Len Grayson, and Edward moved past him without hesitation to meet their hosts. Grayson and the scarlet-haired figure of Vonnie Morgan met halfway in a tight embrace.
“Heya, Red,” Grayson murmured against the top of her head. “Long time, no see.”
“Heya, Blue,” Ms. Morgan replied. “What on Earth have you got yourself into this time?”
“Nothing on Earth,” Albigard said sourly, joining them. “And I am sorry to bring such an unpleasant delegation to your doorstep, Adept.”
